The argument of the two SOT builds is that everything behind the magazine well is the same rifle — same upper, same handguard, same trigger, same controls, same stock — so the choice a buyer makes is the cartridge and nothing else. Both ship with the user-serviceable LaRue heavy trigger spring: 4.5 lb as supplied, 6 lb with the heavy spring fitted.
