M4 DI Series
Our small-frame AR on the SOTM4 platform, running direct impingement, in two series: the SOTM4 Billet Series, our flagship and the home of the SOT SPIRE 6, and the SOTM4A5 Forged Series. Both are built around the HM Defense Monobloc®, our gold standard for bombproof design.

SOTM4 Billet Series
Our flagship. An SOT billet upper and SOTM4 billet lower, machined from solid 7075 to far tighter upper-to-lower tolerances, with SOT profile styling and ambidextrous controls. Rifles and pistols in 5.56 NATO on the Monobloc®, .223 Wylde and 6.8 SPC II, and the SOT SPIRE 6 in 6mm ARC and 6mm MAX.

SOTM4A5 Forged Series
The same HM Defense Monobloc® barrel, mid-length gas and SOT Enhanced HMB™ bolt carrier group, on a MOD-0 forged upper and an SOTM4 forged lower: the stronger, tougher receiver set, held to Mil-Spec dimensions. A 16″ rifle and 14.5″, 13.9″ and 12.5″ short barrel rifles, all with the A5 recoil system.
