// Second of Ten Custom Shop

Built to order. Built to standard.

The Custom Shop does two kinds of work. It builds custom rifles and pistols — our Samurai Series, the Quattro-15 Series and custom LMT® rifles and pistols among them. And it takes on gunsmithing for the parts you already own, from pinning and welding muzzle devices to LMT® MRP™ and MWS barrel conversions.

Every job, a complete rifle or a single barrel, is handled to the same documented standard as the rifles we build — inspected, and recorded before it ships.

// Custom builds

Rifles and pistols you can’t buy off the shelf

We build from OE components — receivers, barrels, triggers and gas systems from the makers we trust — combined into variants that aren’t available in any standard configuration. Each build answers a specific requirement, and in many cases it improves on the overall performance of the OEM version of the firearm it starts from.

// Custom build

Samurai Series

Limited-edition rifles built in small numbers, each named for its edition — the Yasuke Edition among them — and each with its own documented inspection record.

// Custom build

Quattro-15 Series

Built on the Desert Tech Quattro-15 lower, with configurations the factory rifle doesn’t offer — an HM Defense Monobloc® direct-impingement upper, or our QUATTRO-816 short-stroke piston upper.

// Custom build

Custom LMT® rifles and pistols

LMT® MRP™ and MWS rifles and pistols built around barrels and gas systems LMT® doesn’t catalog — a 6mm Max® with a SOLGW barrel and RIFLESPEED Gas Control, or an HM Defense Monobloc® converted for the MRP™.

Who warrants what. The complete firearm is backed by the Second of Ten warranty; each component maker warrants its own part. Warranty information.

// Good to know

Where we can return barrels. We do not ship barrel assemblies to California, Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island or Washington, or to Denver, Colorado, or Cook County/Chicago, Illinois.

Your configuration. A barrel under 16″ on a rifle-configured firearm makes a short-barreled rifle. Since October 9, 2026, ATF no longer enforces NFA approval or registration for short-barreled rifles. That is an enforcement policy following the Jensen and Silencer Shop Foundation v. ATF rulings, not a change to the statute, and it could change. Taking an SBR across state lines still needs ATF approval on Form 5320.20, and state and local laws on short-barreled rifles still apply. The firearm’s configuration is the owner’s responsibility.
