Your barrel shortened if you want it, crowned, and threaded — threads cut concentric to the bore within 0.0005″, cut 0.625″ long and checked with a 2A thread gauge.

1 · Order online
Tell us the barrel, the thread pitch and the length you want, then check out. Return shipping is calculated at checkout.
2 · Ship the barrel
When our email with shipping instructions arrives, send the barrel. It has to come out of the upper — this service does not include disassembly or reassembly.
3 · Cut, crowned, threaded, returned
Shortened if ordered, crowned, threaded and gauged, then shipped back.

Good to know
The law is yours to follow. A barrel under 16″ on a rifle-configured firearm makes a short-barreled rifle. Since October 9, 2026, ATF no longer enforces NFA approval or registration for short-barreled rifles. That is an enforcement policy following the Jensen and Silencer Shop Foundation v. ATF rulings, not a change to the statute, and it could change. Taking an SBR across state lines still needs ATF approval on Form 5320.20, and state and local laws on short-barreled rifles still apply. The firearm’s configuration is the owner’s responsibility. Check your state’s law before you shorten a rifle barrel below 16″.
Barrels we will not cut. We do not shorten or thread fluted or dimpled barrels.
Barrel out of the upper. The barrel must be completely removed from the upper. This service does not include disassembly or reassembly.
Pin and weld is separate. Choosing the 16″ pin-and-weld length cuts the barrel for your device; the pin and weld itself is its own service.
Where we can return it. We do not ship barrel assemblies to California, Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island or Washington, or to Denver, Colorado, or Cook County/Chicago, Illinois.
