// How it works
Three steps
1 · Order online
Tell us the barrel, the muzzle device and the lengths, then check out. Return shipping is calculated at checkout.
2 · Ship it
When our email with shipping instructions arrives, send the barrel assembly — barrel, barrel nut, gas block and muzzle device — or the complete upper with optics removed. Most uppers can stay assembled.
3 · Pinned, welded, returned
The device is installed, timed, pinned and welded, measured, and the upper or barrel assembly ships back.

Good to know
The length is set by your parts. Overall length is barrel length plus muzzle device length, less 0.625″ of thread overlap. The barrel and device must reach 16.0″ on their own — we do not add or stack shims to get there.
Install everything first. The barrel nut and gas block cannot be installed after a pin and weld, so send them on the barrel. Send the shims or crush washer for your device too.
No aluminum devices. We do not pin and weld aluminum muzzle devices. A steel device does not need a pre-drilled hole — if there is one we use it; if not, we drill one.
Pinning only. This service does not include threading the barrel or the muzzle device itself. Need threads? See barrel shortening and threading.
Where we can return it. We do not ship barrel assemblies to California, Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island or Washington, or to Denver, Colorado, or Cook County/Chicago, Illinois.
