Description

The SOTM5 is Second of Ten’s large-frame platform. This 20″ .308 Winchester PRS Lite rifle is built on billet SOTM5 receivers, with the barrel, gas system, bolt, recoil parts and controls each chosen for the cartridge and named below.

Barrel

• 20″ Ballistic Advantage Modern Series heavy profile, .308 Winchester (DPMS-style chamber)
• Chrome moly vanadium, QPQ corrosion-resistant finish
• 1:10 twist
• QPQ-coated M4 feed ramp extension
• Threaded 5/8×24; a Faxon Gunner 7.62 MuzzLok® 3-port brake is installed and can be removed, leaving the barrel direct-thread suppressor ready.
• Barrel weight 55.5 oz (Ballistic Advantage)

Gas System

• Rifle-length RIFLESPEED adjustable gas — set for the load and for a suppressor
• Gas block pinned to the barrel, in line with Bombproof by Design™

• 9310 steel dual ejector bolt, phosphate finish, MPI tested and marked
• Heat-treated 4130 gas key on Grade 8 fasteners, torqued and hydraulically staked
• High-pressure firing pin; O-ring extractor helper
