The SOTM5 is Second of Ten’s large-frame platform. This 18″ .308 Winchester rifle is built on billet SOTM5 receivers, with the barrel, gas system, bolt, recoil parts and controls each chosen for the cartridge and named below.

- 416-R stainless steel, salt-bath QPQ nitride, bore and exterior

- Chamber CMM-checked; headspace 100% checked with a go/no-go gauge (Faxon)
- DPMS LR-308 pattern barrel extension, NP3 coated, torqued to 150 ft-lb and pinned (Faxon)
- Threaded 5/8×24; a Faxon Gunner 7.62 MuzzLok® 3-port brake is installed, removable for a direct-thread suppressor.
